Spring is the season for celebrations, farewell parties, and other gift-giving occasions. “KURAKICHI Akita Fruit Cookie Tin” (photo) by confectionery manufacturer and seller Yuuko of Akita City includes cookies in various flavors and shapes, including one in which an Akita dog is adorably seated. The front of the tin also features the same design of the seated Akita dog cookie, making it a popular and “cute” product.
“By using an Akita dog as the motif, an icon of Akita, we hope to spread the cookies made with carefully selected local ingredients throughout Japan,” said the staff in charge of PR and advertising.
The “Chocolate Assortment,” which consists of ganache sandwiched between cookies, is also on sale until White Day. Both are available at each of the “Kurakichi” confectionery stores operated by Yuuko. Why not give these cookies to that Akita dog lover?
