“The Akita Inu News” invites Akita dog owners to submit “special photos” that they have taken of their dogs. Please send us pictures of Akita dogs that you would like to show off to everyone, such as their smiling expressions, how they wish to be pampered by their families, or the dogs sleeping peacefully. If there are too many applicants, the editorial department will select and introduce them in the December issue of The Akita Inu News. The deadline for submitting your photos is November 25, 2023.
◆Application Rules and Regulations
・Applicants must be owners of Akita dogs and their family members.
・Only photos taken in 2023 are accepted.
・Any theme and any scene with your Akita dog are acceptable!
・If a person is in the picture, please tell them in advance that it may be published in the paper or electronic version, and clearly state that you have obtained consent.
・Write [Proud Akita Inu Post] in the email title.
・Please include the following information in the body of the email: address, name of the contributor (owner), phone number, date and time of the photo shoot, Akita dog’s name, dog’s age (as of December 15), and a 100－200 – word comment, explaining the scene and conditions at the time of the photo shoot.
・Deadline is November 25, 2023.
